hi olly george

first of all you need to convert a few tracks to mp3 & for this i prefer audiograbber (www.audiograbber.com) as its now free of charge http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/toot.gif i use the lame encoder with is freely available on the net, all you do is download the lame file place it in the audiograbber program folder then select it for ripping. i find its much quicker than using ots's ripper, next up open the mp3 to ots convertor program select the folder you saved your mps's in and hit the convert to ots button,

i hope i havent confused you to much http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/smile.gif

i found ots to be ultra stable, infact ive used it for close on 2 1/2 years now & it seriously has never crashed etc & thats on a 600mhz celeron with 256mb ram, the only major letdown for me is you cannot assign each deck to a separate soundcard unless you want to lose the agc/compressor etc so i still use pcdj red for beatmixing or work between ots & my denon players, other than that its great! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/thumbup.gif

Open up Ots Studio and import the songs from the CD into that, being a trial version it will only allow you to convert the odd numbered tracks though, then save the ots file. Go into OtsDJ and link the two !!

.....but what do I know ?
