Hi,

I am looking for a particular remix of Sylvesters' Do You Wanna Funk.

It was around in the mid90s, when I was an MC in a club. The DJ had it I think on a Havin' It Stateside Album, but I cannot seem to trace it.

This version starts "work, work, work, work, hey hey baby" x3 "baby"x3 and then goes into a phat instrumental vocals start "there is something I wanna ask you".

There are many remixes of this available, however it is this particular one I am interested in. Describing these things is always difficult sad.gif

I spent about an hour with a friend last night trying to trace it to no avail. The UK is famous for musically savvy DJs, so please help!

Any help please?

Thanks!

There was a remix released in the early 90's amongst others since the track orig came out...

There was also a great late 80's version too, available I think on a US label

Should be able to help!

Should give you some ideas, although I remember picking up a remix on a European Label, I think it was Italian(Megatone) .. when I was working in Switzerland in the mid 90's, I'll have a look in the attic to see...

It's probably been released on one of the French or German labels.....probably still available on a European comp too!

This also maybe will help:)

Also Almighty Records released a version in the 90's too!

Incidently I know who will probably have a copy of the remix, as they are well known for supplying DJs who do the gay nightclub scene in London....
