hmmm
you can probably download the vocals and insturmentals wherever you get your music, or buy it at your local record shop (i have found some insturmentals once, like Chronic 2001 by Dr. Dre, R. Kelly, and etc....). And then you can use any mixing program or do it yourself and record it! but i doubt it will work, cause the BPMs on both records are different....

Hi
Ok, this isn't the definitive answer and I'm more than happy to be put right.
to separate vocals from a track, you need access to the original masters so that you can actually remix the track. When you see several different mixes on a CD single, the remixers have had access to the tapes, disks or whatever means of recording the track was done one.
As far as I'm aare, there isn't anything available that will take the usic away. There are bits of kit around that will extract the vocals from the music, just leaving you with music, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm almost certain this is done by very clever use of equalisation.
interested to hear if this is the case.

well 2 ways really that i use the first is to have a good mixer with a large range of eqs to keep the vocal's you turn the top and bottom eq range right down that should leave you with mainly just the volcals and to keep just the music turn the mid range right down. now i will say that this is really only good for live mixing and not production. the second is to get the accapela and instumentals of the tunes that you want you can get some from certain file share programes (although i dont advocate the use of such things

) or you can write to the record company and ask for them but this will cost and does not happen very often. by the way the 50 cent accapela is on the album (get rich or die trying) i do have it. I hope this helps let me know if you need more info and sorry about the spelling there is a reason why i dj for a living!!
