Make sure you take your doberman and leave it in the van. Don`t leave your ladders on the roof and make sure you park it in a well lit area.
If possible take a couple of meaty blokes to stand with you in case it goes off.
Lastly keep an eye out for dealers.

Do you charge the usual Sat night price for this kind of stuff? I get asked to do quite a lot of 13yr parties but am expected to do it a little cheeper. I will do it a little cheaper, but not on a saturday night.

eeeek ...probably the worst age group to do a party for.
I did am 18th last night and was expecting very little dancing just the usual posing from the boys and a few girls dancing round handbags. BUT floor packed all night with the best toon being Darude sandstorm......... very strange. but a good night.
Good luck !!

ive charged 90 quid, didnt have any other offers and only 3 hours 7 till 10 plus i know the birthday girls parents a little
they would have paid more if i had to sacrifice a probable sat night booking, but none came in this weekend

Going by my kids its surprising how much music they and their friends know. Most kids of that age have been transported to school so they have listened to the chart stuff and 70/80/90's stuff on the way to school. If in doubt ask, but make sure you have a 'Radio edit' track available.
