hey guys and girls its aj here!
i was think of buying a moving message board for my disco i thought it would be a great way of advertising my disco and good for b-days excetra and also for new years becasue it will have the time displayed on it for new years!!

what ur opinions on it the one i had my eye on was £195 what do u think and chris do u sell ne type of message board of sum kind

or do you guys and girls recommend anything!

I use one I have it linked to my laptop and can change and edit msg's as needed throughout the night .

Chris does (or did?) sell the moving message boards , he can also supply the lead and software thats needed to link to a pc for easy editing , beats the heck out of trying to make new msg's with the supplied remote control !!

Im going to be ordering a moving message board off of Chris "soon". It was going to be this month, until my car stopped moving (a fairly basic requirement for a car) and a £475 bill for a new clutch to be fitted arrived.

For me, a moving message sign will be a very useful addition to the set up. More so, at the moment, than some DMX lighting that I had my eye on...

I'll be using it to display messages such as:

"Congratulations to Daphne and Fred, Happy Wedding Day"

"We Take Requests....in three ways... *) write it on a request slip *) Send me a text message from your mobile to 07123 123456 *) Or wander up and talk to me...I dont bite (not on the first date anyway!)

"To book your disco, call me on....or ask me at the end of this show..."

"Please remember that Daphne and Fred have asked for this to be a no smoking room"...

"Dont forget to use those disposible camera...FLASH!"



Also timed messages can be set on most models, so you dont have to interupt records at 11:30 for "Last Orders", or "Time at the Bar"... etc.

Hmmmm great few ideas there guys. I'm especially interested in the software/pc link as i have been using mine for about 5 yrs with the supplied remote control!!! So chris when you read this tell me how much the software etc is as I am fed up with 'remote finger'!!
