Hi folks
Anyone got any rock balls? No smut thanks, lol.
If you don't know them by that anme, they're the two globes set on a stand that spins, while the balls spin around independantly. I understand they're lit from within and look very busy in a room.
Anyone got one or tried one, interested to hear.

This lighting effect is quite heavy , also takes 2* 300 watt quartz lights.
The balls!!
get really hot! so just run it for short times, and make sure it is out of reach of kids fingers as it can easily take the skin of for quite a while after turning them off

They look bit of an orquard effect. But I believe they have 2x 300W effects so bright enough for large venues.

Ive seen them on fairground rides likr the waltzer - there a nice busy effect, but too big and impractical for mobile use imho.

LOL Here I go for another slating then.................. I have TWO! One stands on each speaker stack, high enough to be away from little fingers.
Yes they get hot, but I've never replaced a bulb yet, and they certainly fill a room with light.
Normally i use them on loud fast sets Ricky Martin Livin La Vida etc
