3. buying trips etc - allowable
4. entertaining business clients - not allowable

Thanks for that info Ian. Its looks as though I should be claiming for more than I already do...

How much of a "typical" day at Plasa count as claimable then?

For example...

Someone buys a Train ticket and a tube ticket to get there from home.

Pays to get in...(or buys their ticket in advance...or begs Chris for a great "deal" on a ticket'n't-shirt package... biggrin.gif )

Buys a few sandwiches, bottles of pop, for themselves during the long day

Buys a drink or two for other forum members that they bump into on the day during the day.

Buys a macdonalds at Waterloo for the journey home...

arguably you are on a "buying trip" so all is claimable.

what you need to remember is that we operate a "self Certification" system. which means you decide if it's right or not.

but it also states that every one will be investigated every 6 years, if the find something wrong you will have to pay back tax, and fines, and interest etc.

these investigators have to find things to justify their existance, i.e. they have to make money for the revunue.

so keep all records for 6 years
