Yes, this is a late booking - which I have said I would endeavour to fil via a "professional" DJ website... however, the client knows that as it is virtually last minute my hopes ae not high because most of us should be out working... anyway, also have another enquiry for an eighteenth in Tolworth for £250 on same evening... again said I am not hopeful but would put a call out! Anyone offering.
For the school I have offered a contingency plan so if we cant fill it for her I will supply a disco and karaoke rig with discs for hire!! But it would be really good if any of you could help out - please note that with the school booking you really MUST have plenty of experience with kids parties and the eighteenth is a family mixed bag so that leaves the field open to anyone who is free... Ah, come on down Chris! There are some great B&Bs down here and with what us lot charge you could really live in style!!! Hopefully putting out work calls on the forum could be an advantage... Most of the time I reckon it will be last minute stuff though... and I wouldn't recommend telling your clients that you CAN DEFINITELY fill the booking... I have said I would need a couple of days but the eighteenth should also continue looking as I am NOT hopeful of getting anyone for her at this stage.
