Mikeee, I'm all for reduced buying prices for D.J's with regard to C.D's, or even the re-introduction of the freebies that Radio stations get

. After all, if you add up the number of D.J's who are at work at any given time, all over the world then it must equal the listening figures of the average community radio station who get a pile of CD's free in the post on an almost daily basis.
The general consensus, is that D.J's are promotors of music, and I have to agree, okay so we get paid for providing a service, but don't 99% of commerical stations make money also, and are run as a business??, yet they still get the music free to promote.
Even the reduction of the price of CDS to D.J's or the introduction of subscription services similar to Pioneer, Mastermix, DMC etc, where you pay monthly for a CD of new releases. However a monthly cost of £15+ is not exactly doing us any favours, particually as we are doing the artist and record label a favour by playing it in the first place!.
Ideally, this needs to be taken up by one of those "not for profit" organisations
