I can't think of a Wailers album of that period Chris 533.gif
I do remember a couple of uptempo reggae tracks from that period though that were popular in Bodo. Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra-Minnie the moocher & Aswad-Don't turn around.
Regarding recent uptempo reggae; i presume you mean commercially uptempo stuff?
Dunno whether it may be a little heavy but whatabout Sean Paul-Give me the light, Mr Vegas-Heads High
a good way to move from a dance set to a reggae set or vice-versa is Groove Armada-Super stylin.
For some funny uptempo reggae try to get hold of Wayne Marshall-Weed anthem, it's the reggae version of Outkast-Hey ya, for the chorus they sing "Ganja" tongue.gif, it's a funny track and can work well with some crowds.

...hmm, just thought, that those of you on here that are pure & clean may have never heard of the word Ganja rolleyes.gif
