Nice List.

Couple of "buffet only" tunes in there - but some real crowd pleasers too.

On a personal note: If it were me, I'd be listening to something else (probably a barmaid) during the playing of "GET DANCIN’ – DISCO TEX AND THE SEXOLETTES" - theres something in that track that just sets my nerves on edge - dunno if its the long building vocal harmonies, or the compere talking to some fake audience, or the plonky melody, or maybe theres some hidden sub-liminal message buried into the tune, but I hate it. wallbash.gif

Do Have fun!

It's a decent list, it sounds like a could be a good night already!

I notice there are two Carly Simon tracks listed, have you heard her latest tune? It's top 10 stateside, a vocal remake of Glen Miller's Moonlight Serenade. Not a patch on the original, but a very nice song nonetheless. I expect you could play it this weekend for her and she would love it. (I've assumed she's a female from the music selection - wonder if I'm right?)

SUMMER BREEZE – ISLEY BROTHERS

Ernie Isley for me one of the great guitar players, but then again he had one on one tuition from the best

Great Tune. The beat and bagpipes sends a shiver down me back for some reason. wacko.gif

Some good tunes on that list and gotta agree with Ian on Ian Dury. He was the nuts toot.gif
before he was with the Blockheads he used to be in a band called Kilburn & The High Roads; I grew up in Kilburn and we had a great High Road tongue.gif thumbup.gif notworthy.gif

Yep, nice easy one, and it's for a girl. Being a 50th, they will really be up for a good time.

On a personal note though, I detest John Devers output with a vengeance yucky.gif and don't particularly like Joan Armatrading or Carly Simon, but the rest is ace cool.gif Can't remember the Disco Tex and the Sexolettes track though, must 'ave been well before my time Gary tongue.gif laugh.gif
