I would like you to take a brief look at this week's top thirty.

I would then like as many of you as possible to put your feelings of it into words as to its general suitability to the average (note I say AVERAGE!) mobile disco.

I will wait until a few more of you have posted your honest opinions before I pass any further comment, but I would genuinely be interested to see what you think.

There are no right or wrong views, I just wondered.....

By the way, anyone in Countries other than the UK, your views on your Countries chart are equally welcomed.....

Over to you.... discuss!

Thanks.

I would say that it looks pretty user friendly - more than usual.

Remembering that the current charts are generally going to appeal to the younger end of the age range, there are still alot of crossover tracks in there

Well, this Saturdays Disco is a Wedding for a couple in their mid twenties, with the usual assortment of Little Chavy Jason the Eminem wannabe, through to Aunty Mavis, the one who within 500 milliseconds of walking into the function room during the background music says "I want to sit as far away from the band, as possible" (and then sits on the table nearest your speakers).

Heres the current BBC charts:

1 JAMES BLUNT - ' YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL ' (Yes - but not the album version)

2 DANIEL POWTER - 'BAD DAY' (Yes - buffet/welcome)

3 TUPAC ft. ELTON JOHN - 'GHETTO GOSPEL' (Yes - buffet/welcome)

4 EMINEM - 'ASS LIKE THAT' Not a hope!

5 MARIAH CAREY - 'WE BELONG TOGETHER' (Yes - buffet/welcome/ballad)

Charlotte Church is the only track I would definitely play from that list. There are the two novelty tunes I would never play unless requested and some average ballady stuff. The only others that would make my possible playlist are the dance tunes, which would only get played if the crowd were young enough (i.e. teenagers) to appreciate this. Dance music enthusiasts in their 20's will, I think, appreciate something a little older but far better.

As far as a typical mobile disco goes, I would say there are about ten songs crossing a number of styles that would be suitable. Another five or six would make the list for a younger audience. Overall though, pretty awful apart from Ms Church.
