I agree, The 13th and 18th Birthday parties I did last week both wanted this played!
Maybe MJ due for a come back ? Even though his recent stuff hasnt been that good.

I probably play don't stop till you get enough for most. Billie Jean usually works having said that.

Its been a long time i think since i have not played billie jean at a gig. Usually play a few of MJ tracks bad(vs ghostbusters for 18ths or 21sts)/thriller/B+W/dont stop till you get enough

Did notice MJ essestial collection has made it into the top 10 of the album charts on Sunday. Someone is buying again

billie jean gets played at most gigs but as somebody else said thriller has been requested at nearly every gig for about the last month

Thriller, Dont stop and they dont care about us are mj tracks i usualy play but billie jean also get asked for.

I think that there was definately a surpression of MJ requests during his trial, but now, requests for his tracks, expecially Billie Jean, Blame it on the boogie (with his brothers), Bad, and Don't Stop 'Til you get enough, have all been requested again in the last month or so, since the trial finished.

i normally play a mj mix off my dmc's when i get to 80's set or if playing a background mix good selection of tunes and always goes down well

When i have used this with 21st and 18th birthday parties it has gone down a treat!
