Do you have one, if so which one, I would like to download the radio programmes I have missed, not too much music !!, I think I can plug the mp3 player into my car MD player and listen to the programme again via the car stereo, failing that I will get a seperate speaker and link through that.

I have just brought a cheap 512mb thing and have spent all morning trying to get the music/programmes across to no avail, but am not giving up....yet.

I think that "The Bug" offers the facility to save Digital Audio Broadcasts to SD card...but thats probably a couple of steps up from what you want - then again, knowing you Andy, its probably right on your wavelength biggrin.gif

SD card would be ideal, could listen to it on my PDA/Phone thing, also Panasonic do a car stereo with a SD card slot.....

But you have to 'be there' to record it in the first place, not download it from the BBC website days later, another way I have thought of is to record it onto your Sky+, as you would any TV programmes, just put it onto a radio station, then transfer the HDD copy to your laptop, then onto your iPod thingey.

AAAAAAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Found the programmes I want to download, a BBC World Service one and some of Tommy Boyd on BBC Southern Counties, can not work out how to get the Tommy Boyd programmes on though, unless there is some sort of copyright in-built.

I only paid 2p For my MP3 Player and its a 512mb one. Mind P & P was £17 from China from Ebay. I kept the tape player in my car for a while as it was moulded into the dashboard and put a cassette adapter into it and plugged into my MP3 player. Wish I would have kept it as am getting bored of listening to the same CD in the car. I can never get round to getting the CD FLight cases out to choose a CD!
Gary
Andy, are the programs that you're after all on the BBC website? they have a "listen to your favourite radio shows from last week" sort of section.

Yes they are, managed to put some music across though, I thnk

I was wondering was he was working now used to listen to him regularily on when he was on Talk Radio/Sport.

...... Found this site with all his BBC Southern Counties shows on Archive, there are streamloads so you would have to record them from your soundcard with a programme like Total Recorder to get them into mp3 format.

Too much hassle then................
