Over the last few years DJ's United has held several 'group buys'. This is where the forum members group together and pool their resources into purchasing certain items in order to benefit from a bulk buying discount.
In other words why buy 1000 Glowsticks yourself when you can buy 1000 as part of a 'Group Buy' with 20 others and all benefit from the 20,000 off discounted trade price!.

These are run at no profit to the organiser and in the past this goodwill has been abused to the point where they were scrapped. However another member has expressed interest in running them, so please indicate your purchasing interest on the poll.

Interested in ELC lamps and Decent Glowsticks, I'd give it a go!

Glowstix 4 me. Just how many lamps do you guys get through? I replace one or two lamps every 8 months, and that's working every weekend with 2 or 4 effects.

I think everyone who signs up to a group buy should accept
certain terms and conditions like trying not to hastle the
organiser too much. The glo-sticks were great and I wouldnt
want this attempt to end in grief for them.

Lamps for me ive got loadsa glow-sticks still !

I would go with some spare long life ELC lamps, depending on price.

I would only want a maximum of 6 or so though.

Both for me - I've never tried glow sticks but I do alot of school and kids' parties and reckon these would go down very well.
