Anyone used the DJX700?? I use the pio DJM600 at work, but can't see the point in shellin out that kinda money for a home mixer, I like that pio layout and I was wondering what your thoughts r on the DJX700?? Sorry for goin off topic.

I've heard the Behringer DJX-700 mixer in a side-by-side comparison and it acutally sounds better/cleaner than the original mixer that it visually clones... I put that down to the selection of components being about 5 years fresher.

However, the DJX-700 effects system pulls the outbound sound down in terms of quality when the in-built effects are on.

yes its more than ok for home use..

but if its on board effects you are after look else where as the ones on this mixer are not brillient...

AJAY, my mate bought one, he regrets the purchase big time as the quality is less than expected. He is now saving up for a second hand DJM600.

I still don't know which way to jump atm. I think i might sit on it, hell work has CDJ's, DJM600's, 1210's and all sitting during the week waiting to be praticed on....

if its just a practice mixer then it should be ok mate... or you could spend a little more and get a citronic 10:4

I use a DJX 700 and i love it, my only gripe is only one mic input, but apart from that it sounds great and has a well made feel to it.

Sound quality is top notch as well.

I've used a brand new one and thought that the master ramps up really severely at the top of the travel so not something i'd like to have attached to my system with other DJ's using it (my work is PA supply)

Spoke to the house sound guy at the venue where i used it and he said they have no longevity in a club environment but as they get stolen so frequently (big East London venue) they go missing before they break (usually)!!

The one complaint i have is that the faders are all on log curves, very unresponsive untill at about 80% then a massive leap in volume. Especially on the master. If i could chop off the far right handside, taking off the beat counters, "surround sound" and effects i would be a happy bunny.

Purchased one the other day as a spare. As a 'spare' - it's great.
Very cheap for the price and functionable........
