hi all, im back again for more advice.
ive got 3 gladiator 1ce barrel effects. when i hang them on my T bar the picture in the instruction manual shows them with the barrel at the top tilted forward. when they are running at this angle they only seem to cover the very front of the dancefloor area. most of the time i set up on my own so dont have any spare time to experiment with different angles.
if any of you use barrel efects what angle do you set them at for the maximum coverage of the dancefloor.
thanks once again
jim

Hi, I used to have 4 of these lights and found the same, due to the flip over they do spend most of there time flat down. A basic DMX controller would allow you to creat a great effect and add light fill to other areas of the dance floor.

One strange idea i never tried was to hang them upside down and tilt it back by about 45degrees, this should give the otherwise down light as a lights pointing down the dance floor.

hope this helps.

thanks john, i was thinking of trying that one day but they are quite heavy and aukward when your on your own.
i think it could be time to buy a winch T bar.
cheers for the help
jim
