Wham! I'm your man.

I loop the beginning instrumental bit (except for the odd grunt by George Micheal) of "Im your man" and run that under "Amarillo" from the start. Have a hot start set up for "Im your man"s "Call me good, Call me bad..." and hit that start button as soon as Tony Christie gets to the final "...sweet Marie awaits for me..../ Call me good..."

Also, Wham! Freedom (if cued past the beginning brass/synth stabs) goes well, especially if a short loop is applied to the the beats immediately prior to "Everyday it is a different story" (or whatever that line says).

Similar sort of audience appeal - eg: those who'll dance to one, will usually stay for the other, or vice versa.

If on the odd occasion i have played it any really cheezy party song but i dont have a perticular fav

Mavericks, Dance the night away. sometimes, or use it to jump to filthy/gorgious
High Fidelity
Depending on when during the party and all the other usual factors, I'd be tempted to follow it with DJ Otzi's Hey Baby. Similar tempo and feel, and another dollop of cheese.

Yep i always do that, i drop bryan adams in just after it goes "livin' on a prayerrrrrrrrr....", before the instrumental kicks in. Although they didn't seem to like that last night.. got some blank looks as if to say "i was enjoying that! why did you cut it?" fear.gif
