I played these at a wedding 2 weeks ago, followed sex on the beach with Venga Boys - Boom Boom Boom, and the set went down a storm.

And this was a young couple wacko.gif

I'm the absolute Cheesemeister at the best of times and I'd have a ball playing to that crowd! I'm not ashamed- I know my music's uncool! biggrin.gif
mikeee
I would have to say, it's all coming back, I've even had requests for the Birdie Song at three different functions this year.
Dukesy
Sounds like a fun party and i hope the tracks go down well!

The 'cheese' and vintage gold tracks are back with a vengence.

When the music releases today are either re-samples or re-arrangements of samples of samples put to a 4/4 time - what do you expect!! biggrin.gif
Enjoy it and watch the antics!
Corabar Steve
Timewarp!!!!!!!!!!

As long as it's one of the early cast recordings & not Damian!
centrestagediscos
theres some good stuff in there, certainly not a playlist from hell i remeber one wedding where they wanted every single prodigy and chemical brothers song played and they bought the cd's with them just in case i didn't have a couple of them.
YourBigEvent
I'd love the gig, I'm a cheesey wedding DJ, and proud of it, would rather play Dancing Queen and Chesney, wee in, week out and get paid decent money for it !
Dynamicdiscos
I love cheese. It's great when you get a good rowd who want to get up and dance to it. But it can get a little too much on occasion. inlove.gif
DJGAVT
Sex on the beach is making a big come back...I have been playing that one in bars alot recently as well as.....

PJ & Duncan - Lets Get Ready To rumble
Outhere Bros - Boom Boom Boom
DJ Miko - Whats Up

Anything like that is going down a storm in bars, clubs and even the mobiles at the moment tongue.gif
Gary
Anything for a good night - and (again) as long as the crowd want/like the same music as the bride/groom who wrote that list, then its got every chance of being a really enjoyable night.

We're not there to ram "culture" or "up-front" music down their throats (theres a DJ, I used to know that ditched and diss'ed any tune once it charted)- we're there to help the hirer and their guests have a great time - and judging by that list - they will.

Enjoy. headphone.gif

This i really don't get do people actually listen to the words from songs
John Kidd
Apart from Will Young, a Great night!
High Fidelity
Been thinking about this Tony.

I think if I had received this list I would be trying to persuade them to change their first dance song.

If they really want Will Young then I'd be suggesting Evergreen or Anything Is Possible.

Still looks like a great night to me though.

All ready tried, spent 45 minutes with the client at the venue whilst also dicussing room layout and order of event. Her minds made up but will try again on the night.

I posted this playlist as it was nice to get one that is middle of the road party, apart from agadoo. Does anyone remember the actions????? biggrin.gif

I wouldn't worry about it.

If they have requested it, they probably know them anyway. biggrin.gif
