Just wondering if any of yous know of insurance cover in Ireland. Got a quote of 1000 euro for the year. Ridiculous or what ?

I'm not sure if Music-Guard cover the South. They pulled out of the North a few years ago and then decided to cover it again. Is there a Musicians Union equivalent in your part of the world?
