Do you include a testimonials page on your web site?
If so do you type them all up in the same format or do you scan the Letter/card editing out personal details etc?
And have you ever changed the wording of one?

I scan them in too small to read properly and then re-type them beneath - offering a highlights version rather than the full wording. That said, I've only got around to doing one...still got a handful more to put on!

Quick get the violins
I've only ever had one email, but loads of bottles of wine, tips and a bouquet of flowers once!

Hi
I include a few as a general selection with full name and vague location, but all have said they're willing to be contacted as referees and this is stated on the testimonials page.
I don't change the worlding, might change typos as, even though it's not your mistake it might reflect badly on how people see you.

!?
Seems to me you're missing the point here ADS! The topic is about client testimonials, which isn't self praise at all

the best Testoimonial is when the venue or client call you to do there next party

Well I have been wondering about including a tesimonials page on website. At the moment I say refferences available on request and I have permission to pass on the details of a few clients.
But I'm not sure what I think about a real Tesimonials page. I did think it was a little cheesy especially if the testimonials are just typed up. Obviously people are going to wonder if they are real.
Scanning in the letter/card is a little more believable but looks untidy and you will need to dub over most of the details just to show the parts you want.
