I have been trying to remember who did an upbeat version of 'I love you baby' (or Can't take my eyes off you, whatever title you know it by) that i heard at a 70s night a while back.
The only upbeat one i can find is by Hermes House band but it wasn't the one i heard.
If anyone can help i'll be very grateful...

It's the boys town gang, it reached No. 4 in July 1982, so strictly it should not have been played at a 70's night.

very camp Hi-Energy song
Gary
and there was The Pet Shop Boys more recently (but still a good few years ago) who did a montage of "Cant take my eyes off of you / Streets have no name".

...and that was suspiciously even more camp than the Boystown Gang version... kid.gif huh.gif

Cheers for that, i'll go listen to them and check them out for myself..

I've just heard that the Fast Food Song (love it or hate it) has actually been around for at least 18 years!!! It was included in a stage show aimed at children. I'm afraid I don't have anymore details of this but someone out there in cyber-space should know unsure.gif
