I'll stick to the 80s as well (it might be a good idea to start a separate thread for each decade) unsure.gif

1980 - Nolans - I'm in the mood for dancing
1981 - Soft Cell - Tainted Love
1982 - Madness - House of fun
1983 - Phil Collins - You can't hurry love
1984 - Cyndi Lauper - Girls just wanna have fun
1985 - Eurythmics & Aretha Franklin - Sisters are doing it
1986 - Billy Ocean - When the going gets tough
1987 - Pogues & Dubliners - Irish Rover
1988 - Yazz - The only way is up
1989 - Black Box - Ride on time

That's about 30 mins of the night taken up - only four & a half hours to go! biggrin.gif

Not that any "decade" of music "really" ends on the 31st of December of 19X9... wacko.gif

Confused? 014.gif ....you will be... laugh.gif
Ian Stewart
who cares, if they dance, its the right tune.

a good example is Hi Hi Silver Lining - a 60's tune when it was first release, but hugely popular at 70's nights
