Im still searching the net for a suitable twin cd player to finally replace my Synergy player which has done me well over the years(So no taking the mick)
So far I have decided I will purchase a Citronic CD:4 mixer.
Now the question is what cd player should I purchase? I will need to find a decent cd player that wont jump under any cirumstances ie. springy floors, or mass jumping (especially at kids parties). the price bracket is around the £250 mark. what sort of spec should I be looking for|Any suggestions??Please help

Anti-shock eg: resistance to "jumping", shouldnt be a problem on all but the very very cheapest of decks... one thing to consider is that a bumped CD-deck can take between 2 and 10 seconds to "recover" internally from a bump, or bounce - so go for the longest possible Anti-shock within budget.
Marky_mark was selling his Numark CDN-22 for a very good price (very good for him as he won it a couple of weeks ago). About £120 I think - so within your budget, if no-ones bitten his hand off for it already.

Doh! Indeed the CDN-22mk3 doesnt appear to have anti-shock....I'm shocked.
Their CDN-30 is the first dual CD-deck in the Numark range to offer Anti-shock.
Pricey places are offering the CDN-30 at around £250. Why not ask on this thread for a few of the DJU retailers to give you their best price, on this unit, or a Citronic dual CD-deck, which are comparable (and might colour co-ordinate with your mixer).

Frankie, can you not hold out and save a little more to get something like the excellent Denon DN-D4000 or one of the Pioneer dual players? It will be really worth it in the long run mate.

I would personally recommend one of the following:
Numark CDN-35 - Great value, simple features -
Only £235or
Citronic CD4.2 - This is the new version of the classic Citronic CD4, retains all the feature sat a fraction of the cost. -
Only £249Hope that helps

CDN22 may not have anti shock but I dont think you will find your self needing anti shock in most venue's
I should know I still play Vinyl
and yes its still brand new in the box for £120, retailing at about £150 + most places
that would leave you some spare cash for somthing else.......
