NO Superman or Birdy Song

finally,

Modern dance for the youngsters!

To me, that is a good mixture of sensible party music. I'm supporting the band so they will be doing loads of rock n roll, 60's, etc. Once I have the bands' set list I will be able to create a good set list that I can use as a guide through the night!!

Bring it on...isn't it strange how you get more excited for some parties than others?

Anyone with any comments or decent additions that would enhance this list are more than welcome to add them.

Recently, when coming out of an RnB set, I have been using Stevie Wonder - Superstition. At 103 BPM, it is a great track everyone knows and it flows well!

walking on sunshine and tiffany would be a couple of good additions imho

A Great list, and looks like you should have a good night.

With the addition of Peter Kay of Course! hide.gif

Looks like your in for a good night thumbup.gif

Only one I don't like is One & Only, but that's just me.

I usually try and squeeze in Pointer Sisters -I'm So Excited at weddings, but it only tends to work really well when the happy couple have not been living together prior to getting married. whistling.gif

Superstition is a grreat record to play at weddings

Superman and The Birdie Song are great records to burn, NEVER play them, especailly at weddings.

That's the sort of thing I was asking about in the "Something different" thread

Looks like this would be a fun gig to do, if not entirely to my taste. I can see a critique of the set list being posted by certain members tho
