Hi I need a piece of software which like windows media player will find all the information of the CD and will import the songs onto your computer as mp3. I need them to be mps files as i use Atomix Mp3.
Your quick response on this would be very much appreciated as i have a disco approaching FAST and I'm running out of time.
Thanks Guys

Music Match is one.
I personally use FreeRip.
Both connect to an internet based database and put in the info for you.
The only thing with FreeRip is on albums with various artists, it puts various artists in the artist field and I have to edit this after ripping.
I bought Music Match but wasn't keen on it, but that's jut my personal preference.

Tried virtually every ripping software on the planet LOL
There are some good ones depending on what programming you are using.
Personally I would recommend DB poweramp and then use tag and renanme to batch edit files.

For future reference, I would recommend Exact Audio Copy (EAC). It is regarded as one of the best rippers from an audio point of view. It will access the CDDB to get you the track info you need. You can configure it to use whatever MP3 converter you like - I use LAME configured to suit my taste.
It is also free (well - you send the programmer a postcard actually LOL)
Hope that helps,
Cheers,
Jack.
PS - you can download it from www.exactaudiocopy.de

You don't need to send the postcard - he just likes putting little pins on his map ;)
Anyway - glad to hear you have something that works for you.
Cheers,
Jack.
