Lucky me I have a 9th birthday party tonight for 2 boys and it looks as though most of the guests will be boys too.

Any suggestions for good games that boys will play?
The hall is pretty big so we are not to restricted.

Boys are not great for getting on the floor and dancing straight off.

Maybe go for the 'Yes No' Bong game to get them use to you
Then go for other games like Piggy back game

There is a great thread on the forum by Kazzachi on Party games in DJ Karaoke Chat pick through it there are plenty that don't need too many props :-

15second fame game
Sharks and Islands (newspaper required)

All the old favourites - musical chairs/statues/bumps anything where competition is involved and a prize at the end even a little lolly does the trick

If the venue allows take a football or two, play dodge ball with the ball throw it at somone if touched they have to tell a joke or do a forefit

Go for a 'break dancing' comp

Have fun and keep them fed and boys will enjoy themselves rolleyes.gif

quick game

get hold of a copy of the 60's hit, the laughing policemen. pick 2 kids, let the kids listen to it then tell them next time you play it they have to do the laughing bit into the microphone.... tell them the one who laughs longest wins.

play the music get them to start laughing then drop the music, and laugh at them as it makes them laugh more then the audience starts laughing and it just carries on from there..... biggrin.gif

Now there are a few good ideas.

I also just remembered bull bog!
Digital discos
Strap balloons to their legs and let each other pop their balloons..

Sharks And Islands is always a good one in my experience

Limbo is also very good..

Bull Dogs- is a bit to rough!

ALso invest in some hoola hoops. Some big ones preferably and spread them around the room.

The kid's have to form a group of whatever number you shout out and get in the hoops within that group..People not in a group are out.

Well I went for it in the end. We ended up having a few games of bull dog and it went down really well. They all played sensibly and no-one injured themselves.
