Dj's United > "TALKING SHOP" > D.J and Karaoke Chat

Professional Mobile Disco & Wedding Disco
Dukesy
In the last two years, all sorts of DJ (and unrelated) topics have been discussed, debated and challenged on the forum!
Already, members post advice and personal experiences, share venue information and gig availability.
The Knowledgebase is a resource of valuable information for members, as well as the thousands of postings for members to search and read.
Being able to post personal views on topics related to the industry, be it the DJ 'dilemma' or current 'copyright issue' is ongoing. What would you like 'to see' develop on the forum?

How come you only get to vote for one tongue.gif

Seriously though - always a good idea to get feedback.

As was mentioned in another thread, the dj shops are fewer & fewer, and on the lighting (and sound) it would be good to see some effects in action.

a general chit chat area would be good, like the idea of a few social gatherings as well that sounds good, just need to get a pass to go out from the missus, shouldnt be to hard i mean what trouble could i get up to at a dj meeting 4 day conference somewhere hot would be a good place to start.

Yes, multiple reply needed.

More reviews, meetings and DJU MAX type get-togethers.

c.s. are you going to the cardiff or watford matches could show ads that you dont have to make a 400 mile round trip to gold trafford and buy 6 replica shirts.
YourBigEvent
C.S Would have slightly more miles to go that 400 I think. Mind you the away games would be closer to him than any home game.
centrestagediscos

C.S
Living in the north of Norway makes home games abot 2000 miles away. Andy you havent met me on my own yet so stop moaning.
centrestagediscos

Had a function at PAFC a few months ago, hell of a place to get too, especailly as they were playing at home on that night too. Had to drive through the main gates by the turnstiles, into the main stand area, driving slowly through the thousnads of people, well I think I saw at least 14 tongue.gif , so passing a few thousand fans, then onto the players only area, and into thier players only bar. Next time I get a gig there you get the phone call Jim.

I would like to see more posts on DJ's personal experiences and techniques. I think we should all share a little more information about what we do and how we work.

Danno13
I'd like to be able to see peoples playlists as well.. handy for picking up ideas.

I post mine (logged by PCDJ) on other forums but no-one seems to do that here so i've held back....
paula
