Hi folks
Ok, I've made the decision on which charities are going to benefit from my madness.
Just in case you haven't read my previous postings, I'll give you a quick summary of what this is all about...
In late 2005 or early 2006, I'm going to be attempting to break the world record for non-stop continuous DJing. The current official record is 84 hours. I'm currently looking at going for either 96 or 108 hours.
As part of this attempt I'll be taking the opportunity to raise tons of dosh for two charities and thanks to the forum members, I've been able to make a choice.
I'd already decided that the first charity I'd raise money for was the Warwickshire & Northamts Air Ambulence Appeal
However, I wanted to donate money to a national charity as well, as it's more likely to get more support from people outside of Warwickshire and Northants.
In fact, due to the nature of the net, I can take this appeal and make it global - I'm the king of the world!!!
I've decided that the second charity I'll be supporting is the Dream Flight charity which gives terminally sick kids a stonkingly brilliant holiday of a life time!
Thanks to Kazzachi for nominating this excellent charity and everyone else for your encouragement, I'll be needing a lot more over the next few months I can assure you hahaha.

All online sponsorship will go to the dreamflight charity. I will concentrate my offline activities on the Warwickshire and Northants Air Ambulence Appeal. This is being done for the sake of simplicity as Just Giving.com doesn't allow one appeal to be split between two charities, shame really.
Do I have a target amount in mind - yes - lots of money!
Remember, you can keep in touch with how the planning for this barmy attempt is going by reading my Non-Stop DJ Weblog
I'll also be building a dedicated website tracking just about everything that going on in respect of this erm, venture.
Right, I'm off to do some more head scratching.
Darren
