Does anyone have any experience of the Hercules DJ Console??

Hmm... I have seen these.. the hardware is very plastic, and certainly home dj orientated. Hercules sound cards aint too bad, but soundblaster are far better.

But this has its own software, and i doubt it will work with OtsDj...

However !!! i have found one that does (group buy maybe?)...

I will post some info and prices when i find out from the company.

I don't like the Hercules console at all, reminds me of something that Fisher Price would make and I don't think that it is up to the same quality as you would expect a product to be made to, if it was used on the road.

That said, and to be fair, this is only my first impression of the product and a personal opinion, I have never used the item and therefore am not qualified to pass judgement in actual use. But, as with any product I would advise trying to get a demo or at least a review from another forum member who has used the item, before committing to a sale, so you can ascertain it's suitability for your own application.

Would there be any possibility of you demo'ing this at DJU Max?. I'm just thinking that it may be a good opportunity for you to show at least some form of beta / prototype to DJU Members even if you haven't got the price / availability in place yet?.

Maybe you could take the idea to the company you are dealing with, they may be willing to furnish you with a demo unit for you to gauge interest?.

Have been looking at it. Dont see any way of Mounting it in a Flightcase. Perhaps you can add "wings" ?!

I think it looks like a good idea, but would need to try before I buy kinda thing. And am working on getting a computer just for DJing.
