If it's for a Wedding are you sure that the client would want you mixing (as in the continuous Club Sense of the word) or would he prefer a normal Mobile sort of DJ with a good mix of music and a little banter now and again?.

It would be easier to offer advice if you could clear that one up smile.gif

As far as the usual variety of music goes then check out the following threads:-

Hi

I think if you follow the threads Chris has placed you will find all the info you need.
As for what's cool on the dance floor in the years you have been away you need some NOW albums to get yourself up to date and hand out requests and let your audience guide you. If you are going to DJ on a regular basis some of the promo companies do special deals on old promos or even better floor fillers and number ones of various years.

Hope it goes well - Mick

Hi, Ian 042.gif

I'm sure others will say it, but have you got any recent Now comps. These usually cover chart sounds that are popular.
2-3 years won't have changed the floor-fillers for weddings etc. very much, just add a few of the newer "cheese" like cha cha slide.
The virtual playlist shows the type of mix you tend to have. Abba, disco, and party tracks like Saturday Night, Macarena and a few smooch tracks like Robbie Williams Angels or She's the One and Barry White.

You've done it before, so you must know how to read your audience. Ask about special requests before the date and you can probably tell what the B&G want, anyway.
Good Luck thumbup.gif
