Ok it has no words...(That's a good start)
I would say it has a feel of Kettle drums to it.
It was used as the main theme for cricket in the UK maybe even called the cricket song?
Can anyone help with the name of the song or the artist?

Well using our trusted friend Google, the BBC cricket theme tune is...
Booker T and the MG's - Soul Limbo (1968)
Hope this helps.

Yep Joe you're right, BUT when I posted Danno's post hadn't appeared yet, although he had posted it
I guess it must have been waiting for approvalm in the moderation queue.
So a big-up to Danno and Brian can go to the back of the class
