Any ideas as to how to get a gig? Just an easy one when your friends and family are not looking for a dj lol(how inconvienent) *spelling*

Pick up your local yellow pages and ring round wedding venues and local pubs is probably your quickest way to getting a gig.

Alternatively think about putting on your own night in a village hall

Prepare some advertising material and send it out to venues - let people know that you are in business. Send me a PM and let me know what you can/can't do (in terms of functions) eg I know you haven't done any weddings yet but what about birthday parties etc. Can you provide a disco at short notice (I appreciate you have to arrange transport). You get the idea - when people know what you can do they'll get in touch.

Set yourself up a letter on your computer addvertising your self and then look in the yellow pages for venues with an email address and send your letter to the entertainments manger, and if no email then post or take around by hand
