I know it has been suggested that we arrange a meet at Plasa in September but how about some regional meets prior to that.

This would enable us to meet up, share experiences etc and maybe pave a way to a national association.

Any Futher thoughts on this?

Well - we've all proved we can chat and get along or differ on the forum.

I think you have a good idea. Plasa would be nice - but not everyone will be able to attend.
On an earlier thread, I suggested the forum had a 'map image' of sorts with members dotted around the UK, etc, for quick visual reference.

So Chris, can you post a 1 off results 'poll' of members location or area base North, South, East, West - no graphics, to see who is where!
If it gets a lot of views - perhaps keep it.

Maybe the new chat area on Sunday, 8pm, would be a place to discuss further?

This might be a way for members to see who is close by - to meet up as suggested.

I know Spin and me could get together - but he'd have to remove those teeth first.

I like the idea of regional meets. Much as I want to be at Plaza you can bet sure as eggs is eggs something will come up at the last minute, so a chance to meet local dj's from this forum is a sound idea.
I have already met Tonsk for the first time this week and I believe that Spinko is from this neck of the woods. Maybe we will be able to meet up one Saturday when we are not working and have a chat.

I like the sound of one big party!!!! That would be good plus we get to meet everyone on the forum! Quick question what's plasa?

The Professional light And Sound Association show held every September at Earls court. Mainly now for industry bods and that but you will find plenty to look at and there are a few stalls which are useful to mobiles. This year it is from 7 - 10th of September.

Ok Chaps so some of you seem to think that the idea of regional meets would be a good idea. I am in North Herts anyone else close interested in a meeting in this area.

For those that dont know I am from Norwich and would love to talk to others! Not that I am a sad saddo with no mates but......

And I am gonna try and get to Plasa to meet the rest of you fellas but you never do know what'll come up....

well from reading where everyone is based, obviously the most central place in Wickford in essex, and the best time is Sunday 25th May, at Bar Plazma in the High Street between 8pm & 1am when Top DJ Ian Stewart will be playing classic soul, funk & jazz anthems.
