I have lost my diagram for wiring up my bulgin plugs(can't be asked to rumage in van for a lead) so can some nice teckie DJ tell me the numbres to the coulers I am using 8 core, Please

Colours don't really matter, as long as you make sure that the same colour wire goes to each pin . Brown to Brown, Blue to Blue etc. But as a rule I always use the green wire for mains Earth and then the brown for the common.

However the pin wiring is as follows:-

6,7,8 - Common Live (L) Often all linked

1- Mains Earth

2- Channel 1 (N)

3 - Channel 2 (N)

4 - Channel 3 (N)

5 - Channel 4 (N)

This wiring assumes that the controller switches zero voltage (Neutrals) in which case pins 6,7 & 8 is the common live terminal.
