Well i know that some of you will find this interesting.
Take a lookSo it lookis like Queen will be on the road next year with Paul Rodgers on vocals. I think he did a reasonably good job when they played the hall of fame gig.
Now what do you guys and gals think?? Cashing in on a legacy?? or just some of the biggest rock legends of all time wanting to get out there and do what they are good at again??

I always enjoy the Queens Speech on Xmas Day
I find it's the one day of year where I get cured of my chronic insomnia

I'd probably go depending on location - after all Mr Mercury was "only" a percentage of the band - not the whole thing. Admittedly, he was the figurehead of the band, but seeing 3 talented musicians at work, with a well performing lead singer, and well known songs, is still worthwhile.
I'd probably take some cotton wool to plug in my ears for AFTER the concert to avoid hearing all those whingers going on about "oh its not really the same though, is it". I think hearing 15+ live songs performed well, would be enjoyable enough regardless.

I'd go and see it
BTW I'm off to see Simple Minds in April, that should be a good gig too, maybe not quite as good as say 1985, but still looking forward to it.
