Hello All.

Strange I Know for this time of year, but Ive just taken a booking for a birthday party on Sunday (40th). The are having a cake presentation and want Happy Birthday song played during, I have Stevie Wonders track but the client does not want it as its too long winded. The other track I have is on a compilation album Birthday song (traditional) but it sounds like it has been recorded by the crowd from my local.
I usually get away with Stevie Wonder or Celebration or getting the guests to sing but not this time, does anyone know of a nice clear and plain happy birthday song.

Thanks.
Jim.

Hi - I know what you mean, they usually sound like a Mrs Mills singalong, I've never really found one I like so I've chopped of the front off Stevie Wonder one so it comes in straight on the Happy Birthday bit and then I fade it out after 1- 2 mins or so, usually into Celebration. maybe if you explain you've cut out the 'boring bits' they'll be OK with it - and apart from that, no ever seems to realise it's about Martin Luther Kings birthday, they should be honoured to have it played! 139.gif
