From the age of about 10 I used to go to bed with a really old radio tuned to the Great 208. Even though I had the radio adjusted to the exact angle it needed to be to get any recepetion at all the signal would still fade in and out. Other stations could be overheard and they were mostly foreign.
But they played great music and the DJ's were full on cheesey larger than life characters.
Lovely memories.
