is that the wildblaze by genie?
if yes, one of the small clubs that i play at bought a wildblaze and a xtc pyramid light by genie last year.
for the price they are a very good cheap light that shoots beams in all directions but they are not dmx compatible

I was thinking about buying a couple of these or a couple of XTC by Geni, they are good effects and the bulbs in them are cheap! Also the lights have Fans built into them so you can use them all night long. In some lights of this price they dont have fans and you have to stick to a cycle duration.

We have both the wild blaze & the XTC, they are now over 2 years old & I can only remember changing a bulb in one of them. The only problem we have found is in positioning them so they don’t drive everyone crazy, with them flashing in everyone’s eyes.
The XTC we now hang upside down so the lights are moving all over the ceiling & above everyone’s heads.

I used to have an XTC and a Wildblaze - both from SoundLab...
For the price they are very good cheap effects. I have receintly sold them due to the fact i am now completely DMX except for a few band effects and the mirrorball ! and why keep them in the garage when i may as well let someone else use them...
