hope this is in the right place.
problem is (after reading a post about it)i downloaded MDB 2000 music database 30 day trial but cant get the hang of it so would like to remove it from my computer.
after clicking add/remove i get the warning message...
16 bit windows subsystem c\windows\system32\autoexec.nt.
the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications.
choose close to terminate application.
i am running xp home.
has anyone got any advice on how to remove this bit of software.
thanks

Sounds like Config.nt, Autoexec.nt or Command.com in the Windows or Windows\system32 is either missing or corrupted.

You can either try replacing them, or do a system restore to a date before you installed the demo.

i think its much simpler than that. the removal routine they have writen for there software is 16bit and pre windows XP 32bit.

there for windows is saying it cant remove the software biggrin.gif

maybe they thought that every one would like the software and want to keep it ?

just delete the directory off your hard disk make a note of all the registry entries it pops up with next time you boot, then go in and remove them by hand, make sure you make a back up of your registry before you go fishing arround in there....
