I do not want this topic to be I am better than you, or I am busier than you but how is 2005 looking for you at the moment, I have 30 confirmed bookings and approxiemately 19 enquiries.

I only want to use this as a referal tool to see if I need to go and start looking for Fridays and weekend gigs.

Hopefully should be a good year, another agent recently taken us onboard, and the recent demise of a £40 a night local 'competitor'!.

2 weddings booked and, would you believe it, someone else wanted a wedding on one of the days already booked!

This time last year I had 6 weddings confirmed for 2004 - to date I have 27 confirmed for next year so it's looking rosey.

More & more of these are coming in via the net and in several cases I've received a confirmed booking without once talking to the clients even though I've given them my number & asked for theirs - they've been happy enough to conduct the whole business by e.mail - including sending out the contract which they have returned by post with a deposit.

Like BigBen I've also had a large number of enquiries (8 so far) which coincide with the dates already taken so on the basis of this it looks like being a busy year for weddings.

Whoever said that marriage was dead was confusing it with funerals

At least a couple of bookings each month apart from July...1 full month off!!! Girlfriends graduation and holiday so I thought i better take some 'real' time off for once in a few years!!!
