ok i have me sound comin throu my computer from me mixer REC to INPUT

I wont to know which software i can use to record what im mixing....

or will i av to folk out on a £250 cd recorder

Is the pc looped back through the mixer? wacko.gif

Does your system have noise on the speakers as well as the rec o/p?
If so, then you need to check all your grounding and signal cables...
If not then ensure the RCA lead to the pc doesn't run near power, Flouresent tubes, Light controllers etc... then also check the PC PSU is grounded correctly. - Plug in another line device and test it... some cheaper sound cards suffer with this because of poor grounding an signal isolation.. Also ensure that the O/p from your mixer does NOT exceed 0.77v and that it is plugged into your line in, not mic in...

also most sound cards come with audio recording software. mine came with a media rack thing that can recored to mp3.....

Yeah, have a look on your PC as most have free software for editing/recording wave files. If not, have a look online as you will find free software or demo versions out there no problem

SoundForge seems ok, you can split the mix up aswell into individual tracks to make it more friendly to listen to
