I don't know if they make Computer Speakers as such, you would need to check this out with a PC supplier, but I'm pretty certain they don't.

If you use your p.c for mixing, MP3 or just listening to music etc, and you have the budget, then you could plug the output from your pc into a good quality Hi-fi amp feeding the JBL Control 1's.

I use these speakers at home for a home cinema system, from a Denon Amp and they do sound great smile.gif they also handle upto 125W as well, which for such a compact system is great for monitoring etc.

It may be overkill for your requirement but if you have the budget available then it is well worth considering, especially for those who use their pc's for studio applications.

Cambridge Soundworks Digital!!! These are the absolute nuts notworthy.gif

Really these things are excellent, you get 2 satellite speakers and a heafty subwoofer, but the sounbd quality is excellent, best p.c speakers i have heard

I think you can get them cheaper now but they were around the 90 mark before

A little care is needed, when shopping for speakers to use with a computer...especially, if you're considering "audio" speakers, instead of "PC" speakers...

A mate of mine a few years back, had a pair of small, but incredibly heavy (and truely awesome sounding) hi-fi speakers. He had a separate hi-fi amp for them too.

He had the PC switched off...placed the speakers where he wanted them...about 6 inches each side of the monitor, wired it all up..switched on.

Two huge purple "tie dye" pictures now filled each side of the screen, touching in the middle. Audio speakers aren't always magnetically shielded, like PC speakers are.

It took days for the screen to even begin to recover...luckily the monitor had a degauss button, which seemed to help a little. The monitor picked up temporary hints of purple, even when the speakers were 15 inches away...

This is probably not a concern for you, if you've got a LCD monitor, rather than the old "CRT"(Cathode Ray Tube) type, but certainly something to be aware of.
