I'd certainly agree that bubbles leave a dangerously slippery residue on wooden dance floors, and also on non-pile carpet eg: the "flat" carpet that shops/clubs have.
The few times that I used to use a bubble machine, during the bride and grooms first dance, there used to be a nice little puddle of fluid/mis-hots bubble splashes directly below (and about 1ft in front of) the business end of the bubble machines location.
Now Snow Machines...(when they work) they're seriously fun...especially when you're perched on the flat(ish) roof of a 4 storey building, in a freezing November evening...waiting to p p p p p ress "ON".....bbrrrrr. for the christmas lights switch on ceremony...which has been delayed for ANOTHER 20minutes...bbbrrrrrr as no-one can find "santa".....bBbbBBBBbrrrrrrRR
And then....it starts to snow anyway.... TYPICAL.... (still, I did write a "Payment due regardless of weather conditions", clause into the hire/operation of the machines...HA!!!)

(I saved on Snow fluid too)
