Following the massive success of the previous group buy on Glowsticks which was held in the spring. I am planning another one before Xmas.
Hopefully we'll be able to achieve the same level of interest, and hence the bargain price that we got before

.
The previous price was around £42.00 per 1000 which equals £4.20 per 100 including delivery and was almost half the price that they are available for elsewhere, and for a quality glowstick from a reputable supplier.
There is no immediate hurry, but I shall be arranging this before the Xmas period, perhaps around mid October to Early November, so this post is purely to remind you, that another group buy for them is on the cards, so if you are about to spend ££'s elsewhere stocking up, then don't

.
Glowsticks are a must for keeping the kids from under your feet at Weddings, and are great for Kids Parties. Some Dj's even make a nice little income from selling them on at teenage parties etc. These can easily be sold for between 50p and £1 each at gigs with a teenage audience, just throw a few 'freebies' out into the crowd to create interest!, then everybody wants one - instant demand = instant profits

. Given that one container of 100 will cost you £4.20, sell them at 50p each and you've made around £45 profit

.
So look out for the announcement in the next 4 - 6 weeks. Hopefully there will be other novelties made available at the same time from the same supplier.

Yep! I'm interested. Never used 'em before but might now they are so cheap. Could I just buy, say 100 or 200 or is it too early to tell?
Chrispy

Depends how much interest we get and the total group order quantity, obviously the price would be adjusted slightly pro rata, it wouldn't be fair for folks to get the same price for 100 as those buying 1000.
The last buy we had to order 12,000 from the supplier to get that price, and in fact we ended up ordering 22,000

. Given the time that has elapsed I doubt we'll scrape 12,000 but we'll see what committment comes back.

Dunno if you had much feedback, but I found that out of the last batch (1000) a large percentage of red(purple/pink) sticks either didn`t work or lit very dimly and died soon after. Funny that the other colours weren`t affected tho.
Anyway, they`re still a good price so I`d probably go for a thou, even tho I have a few left from last time. I don`t mind stocking up. (unlike someone here who tried to sell his lot on "the other forum" for about 20 quid a hundred

)
---
Let`s know if you decide to go through with it.

At this price I don`t bother selling them, I give them away. I`m happy to give out 50 or more in one night. It`s less than 2% of my fee and only what i`d spend on a pint if I didn`t take a flask

Are these flashing hair braids reusable? how long do they last?
From the look of the picture on your
website they do look good and I can well understand girls liking them, however unless they're re-useable I think it's a little more than I'd prefer to spend on giveaways.

Okay finally a confirmed price. Based on the order committment shown, the price is £37.50 per 1000 glowsticks + Carriage charge.
Sorry the minimum order per person is 1000 Glowsticks, since this is a bulk buy excercise we can't offer discounted prices on 100's. However the carriage charge is the same whether you buy 1000 or 4000

.
All of those who have
P.M'ed me with their order committment will be getting a return PM with payment and address details. Those who haven't committed an order.......... won't

. Sorry but the order will only be accepted by PM, so don't post it here.
Yes, they are packed in tubes of 100, of mixed colours and complete with the end caps which allow them to be linked together, or used as a bracelet.
So to confirm:-
Price per 1000 Glowsticks is £37.50
Carriage Charges will be confirmed on my PM
Please P.M me your order committment
I will then return your PM within the next 24 hours with the payment information.
Those who have already PM'ed their order need not do anything further, other than await the reply from me.
Those who have purely stated their interest on a post, and have not made their mind up by Pm'ing the order, will NOT have their order honoured.

These are exactly the same type as we offered on the group buy previously, namely the 8" thin Flexible type which can be used either as a glowstick, or bent / joined to form necklaces, Bracelets, Glasses etc.

The closing date for the receipt of payment was only the 1st December.
I have to wait until everybody pays before I send the orders off. As usual there are a few stragglers who hold things up
'Group Buys' make me no profit whatsoever. So I'm not paying postage to forward several lots of orders off. they come to me, and then get forwarded to GLS in the same envelope as one big order - but if some members are late getting the cheque to me, then it holds the entire order up.
Unfortunately, things have been delayed further, due to members not following the payment instructions correctly, and sending cheques which have been made payable to me, rather than the glowstick company. Those who have done this will have their cheques returned.
On average, allowing for cheques to be sent, and for them to clear - group buys take around 3 weeks to fulfil, so you should expect delivery around mid December,.
