Hello everyone!

Right, i am thinking about buying some scanners when i have the money and i just wondered which are the best to go for?

I used to use some leo scanners but i'm not sure which make they are! If anyone can help out i would be very grateful.

I am very interested in going to DMX Lighting but i stand to my vow that i will continue using light screens forever!

The most popular scanners that we sell (and the cheapest) are the Soundlab Colourscans. In fact we sell around 10 of these for every pair of the others biggrin.gif .

Don't be put off by the price, we offer them at a massive discount! - possibly the cheapest in the UK, and they are very effective.

This is a true 4 channel DMX Scanner which has seperate Gobo / Colour Wheels (So the colours are not linked to the gobo unlike most other scanners). You get 10 colours, 10 split colour combinations and 13 Gobos. They use the standard 24v 250W ELC type lamp.

They can be used stand alone, or link them to synchronise together with a simple XLR - XLR Dmx Lead. They are fully DMX compatible for manual / programmable use from a controller, but most D.J's tend to use 2 or 4 just linked (Daisy Chained) together.

The units have got 6 sets of program routines built in, along with full sound activation (Built in mic).

The Prices are VERY competitive, and different combinations are available with or without flight case or DMX controller. Check out our May Special Offer Thread for discount forum prices, and our website for video downloads of these working.
