For me, it'd still be my OtsDJ software, otherwise my 'Request Slips' I hand out at gigs so I can remember what people ask for.
Oh, and my amp, speakers, mixer, lights...blah blah (before anyone else thinks of putting those down)

A Roadie....I'd be forced to buy my own drinks!
Hehehe,
Mind you, I used to use a roadie years ago and he was too thick to understand that the £20 quid I gave him for helping me out was also used for drinks which he bought for me.
This carried on for a short while before he started college again after the summer - he enjoyed weekends out though....whilst I knocked back the

and watched him carry my stuff around.

Well I'd be lost without my regular customers!!! Two pubs which I still work once a week and have done so for the last 15yrs!! They stuck by me even through the recession etc.
Failing that of the last 3 yrs my laptops without a doubt, I'm getting too old to carry thousands of CD's and the roadie would moan.

for me , its the pioneer cd players, with out these the transition from vinyl to cd would have been horrible. another equal tool is the cdr recorder !! and i suppose pc's to download tunes are another god send.

I fully agree with request slips! I've been using them for years, it is also great advertising! I get 90% business from recommendations and people seeing my work. People are shy/ lazy/ too drunk to come up and ask for a card. Request slips are especially great when doing 16/18th birthdays as you normally won't consider playing the stuff they ask for! Who?? What??? and you can group stuff and stop 10+ individual requests to play Linken Park! Plus also there is space for messages, toward the end of the night you have to censore them though!

My 15inch....
...Electric fan.... I get hot, even with a 2 litre bottle of diet coke to keep me happy, when I have to be sensible and turn down the free drinks (which are actually part of onw of my contracts with a regular venue of mine - THATS what i CALL a negotiation triumph.
Yes, gigs would be unbearable without the fan...
When I used to do nightclubs - fans were very important , I still use them during the summer months as down here in Brighton it gets quite hot and stuffy in the evenings.

Agreed a stage is a very hot stuffy place in summer! (well most of the year in some venues)

My sense of humour !!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, my tracklisting, it helps remind where even the most obscure of the obscure is hiding.

I think I would be lost without my partner.
It might seem a bit over the top, but she looks after me in ways I could not explain if 'Paula' was reading.
I would not be here today if it wasn't for my darling
Those free pencils from that sweedish shop.
