do any of u guys use Billboard top 200 or anything similiar to that to find new hits/songs to play in gigs? or do u guys hear from word of mouth or mix-cds?

Im lucky i have a friend who works in a dance record shop , he puts anything he thinks i might like to one side for me to listen too first!
charts dont seem to resemble what i play from week to week , word of mouth and requests tell you much more.
you only have to go to the local night club and watch crowd reaction to tunes to guess what people want and not what the record labels want you to buy !
Play it by ear and see what happens and also ask what other djs here are playing you will be suprised im sure

only time I use billboard is when I am doing american/international schools
