This cha cha business baffles the hell out of me! Most saturdays I do weddings in and around the M25 area, yet I've only ever been asked for it at one gig... although I'm very thankful for that as the record is a piece of cr ....

I know that 1 or 2 DJ's on here who do the London area also have said they have been asked for it, but I still think that on the whole it just ain't popular around here, cos I've asked other London DJ's and they've all said the same thing, i.e. they never get asked for it.

The Cha Cha slide has been everywhere around the world before it came to us. A friend thats a Dj in spain sent me a cd and it had that on. Played about a year ago and everyone said it was rubbish! but after everyone had their summer hols they cam back and way!! They knew all the actions, so have been hearing it for FAR TOO LONG !!!
I think the next song that will be out to anoy us is the Ding Dong Song! Was asked for that last week. Got a catchy beat and anoying words that stick in your head lol

Last year brought a CD thought I would never get to use it until someone came up and asked for : Grandmaster Flash - The message, and Sugar Hill Gang - rappers delight! I thought unusual requests but I played them and was glad i brought the CD! , brought back memories. Anyone remember them ??
