Dear Ben

The name of the tune is 'hear the drummer get wicked' by Chad Jackson. Its an old 80's dance tune, and its one of my favs!

I hope this helps

Not Chad...

My claim to fame (well one of them), late eighties, a famous race course in Surrey, not to far from Hampton Court. The TVDJA shownite, Everyones in Black Tie, really looking the biz, after several sherbets, a trip to the gents is required, I'm stood there minding me own business, and gent comes and stands next to me, wearing a flying jacket and leather flying hat, well I had to comment, that I didn't realise it was fancy dress. I was told later who he was, just before he did his set - Oops

Chatting up blokes in the Gents!! ohmy.gif ohmy.gif - Was the 80's your male bonding phase? - I blame a lot of that on Adam Ant and Boy George! (Who'd have thought that he'd "grown up" to be a Club D.J tongue.gif ).

I remember the Chad Jackson track biggrin.gif - I was D.J'ing Thursday Nights at "The Kings Arms" in Congleton High Street at the time! - funny how these songs can remind you of times past and I can always hear a track and remember exactly what venue I was working at the time smile.gif . I suppose that applies to all D.J's!.

Oh for the return of the good old days!, which reminds me of those nights....getting in at 1AM, turning on the T.V to watch Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan on the "Hitman & Her" - from some dodgy nightclub!. Am I the only one old / sad enough to remember that cheesey show???

Sorry Im a bit late with this reply but I used to come home from a gig and watch Hitman.....We all know what happened to Michaela but what happened to the coloured dancer-whose name I cant remember
Chrispy
The coloured guy, famous for wearing the almost Rod Stewartesque blonde wig was called "Clive". I believe he ran a dance school and owned the agency who provided the stage dancers every week on "Hitman".

He once turned up (without the wig) a few years ago on some satellite channel chat show, so he's still around.

Just some more useless information for u
